YouTube prohibits new uploads on Donald Trump’s channel for a minimum of 7 days

Another one! We haven’t heard too much from Donnie, Roomies, in the past few days, which could have to do with major platforms banning his accounts after last week’s riot at the Capitol.

Well, it looks like he just got the boat from another platform – YouTube. A message from YouTube’s official Twitter account said the platform had suspended uploading to Donald Trump’s channel for “at least 7 days.” YouTube adds that it will also turn off comments on its account indefinitely.

“Following reviews and given concerns about the ongoing potential for violence, we have removed new content uploaded to Donald J. Trump’s channel for violating our guidelines. It’s now on its first strike and is temporarily banned from uploading content for at least 7 days, ”tweeted YouTube.

The announcement went on and said:

“Given the ongoing concerns about violence, we will also indefinitely turn off comments on President Trump’s channel, as we have on other channels where security concerns can be found in the comments section.”

Donnie’s suspension train started on Facebook after Mark Zuckerberg announced that he and his team had decided to suspend Trump’s account. Just days later, Twitter followed suit, announcing that Donnie’s account would be permanently banned.

We’ll keep you updated on whether or not Trump gets his accounts back, but until then, stay with us for tea!
