The Ohio GOP is attempting to power the Republican Congressman to resign for voting to indict Trump
The Ohio Republican Party reprimanded and called on MP Anthony Gonzalez to resign for voting to indict Trump.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reported:
Ohio Republican Party leaders called on MP Anthony Gonzalez to step down to vote against former President Donald Trump.
On Friday, the party executive called Gonzalez, R-Rocky River, to step down in a split vote. They also voted to reprimand Gonzalez and nine other members of Congress for “their votes in support of the unconstitutional, politically motivated impeachment trial of President Donald J. Trump”.
Any non-Trumper will be removed from the Republican Party. If they don’t leave voluntarily, signatory states like Ohio try to oust them.
A broken and dwindling political party has convinced itself that a man who might soon face criminal charges is worth betting on the future of the GOP.
There is a complete purge going on in the Republican Party. No one is safe, not members of Congress, the House leadership, or anyone who dares propose the attempted overthrow of the United States government is unacceptable.
The Republican Party is imploding in front of the nation.
