The cop of the mom of the slain Capitol says the Republicans are tense, insincere and uncared for
Describing her meetings with Senate Republicans as tense, Gladys Sicknick said that Republicans are dishonest and don’t care about them.
Video from Sicknick:
Gladys Sicknick, whose son Brian was killed during the 6/6 attack, said Republicans were tense and insincere. She added, “They are elected for us, the people. And they don’t care. They care about money, I think, their paperbacks.” Pic.twitter.com/ffqtAdXchs

Sicknick said on CNN, “They were very charming and they knew what they were doing, they knew how to talk to us. But we held back somehow. It was just – it was tense. And we just believed, you know, everything was fine and we were very nice to them for the most part. “
Sicknick explained the reason the meetings were tense: “Because we knew – I think because we knew they weren’t righteous. They weren’t sincere. ”
She added that Republicans did not want to get to the bottom of what happened: “They are elected for us, the people. And she doesn’t care. They take care of money, I think, of their paperbacks. So you will be in front of the cameras when you feel like it. And they just don’t care. And it’s not right. “
There was an attack on the Capitol to overthrow the government. Police officers were injured and killed, but Republicans didn’t care.
Sicknick’s words were to be used in advertisements against every Republican Senator and Senate candidate over the next year. Republicans don’t care about people. They only care about money.
If a grieving mother whose son died protecting the Senate Republicans can’t get her to do the right thing, the rest of the American people will stand no chance if they ever come back to power.
