S&P Global names Martina Cheung as president and CEO (NYSE:SPGI)
- S&P Global (NYSE:SPGI) on Thursday said it has elected Martina Cheung, current president of S&P Global Ratings, to succeed Douglas Peterson as president and CEO, effective November 1, 2024.
- The company added that Cheung has been appointed as a member of the board, effective July 1, 2024.
- Peterson will remain on the board until May 2025 and be a special advisor until December 31, 2025.
- Yann Le Pallec has been appointed to succeed Cheung as president of S&P Global Ratings, effective November 1, 2024.
- The company also said that its full-year financial guidance is unchanged.
