RUF North America Shows Off Its RARE, Newly Imported Ultra Violet SCR Demo Car

RUF Automobile has built a legacy of handcrafting ultra-exclusive sports cars, emphasizing lightweight engineering and track-inspired performance. While their models often resemble early-era Porsche 911s, RUF’s meticulous craftsmanship and innovative approach result in true collector-grade examples, highly prized by passionate enthusiasts and collectors. Welcoming an exceptional car to its stateside facility, the team at RUF North America is proud to present the second RUF SCR imported to the United States, featuring a rare Ultra Violet over black and grey Alcantara configuration.

Just recently imported as RUF North America’s own official SCR demo vehicle, it comes spec’d in a motorsport-inspired combination that stands out as one of the few Mary Stuart SCRs to showcase a custom rear decklid paying homage to the iconic 1973 RSR. While the exterior sports a jaw-dropping purple finish, the driver-centric cabin comes equipped with lightweight door cards, lightweight wheels, purple carbon lightweight Recaros, hood pins, and Sabelt harnesses. The RUF SCR features a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine, delivering an impressive 510 horsepower and 346 lb-ft of torque. The modernized powertrain allows the SCR to achieve a top speed of over 199 mph, showcasing RUF’s commitment to high-performance engineering.

Calling The Concours Club in Miami home, RUF North America already has plans to debut the U.S.’ second Ultra Violet SCR with a blistering lap around the circuit.
