Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV Interior Bared Before Official Debut

Mercedes-Benz just officially unveiled the interior design of its upcoming EQE SUV ahead of its world premiere scheduled on October 16, 2022. The German automaker hypes the auto as the multi-purpose variant of the EQE executive saloon, which is available with the key innovations found in the EQS flagship sedan EV, yet at the same time, more dynamic than the EQS SUV.

In terms of headroom, legroom, and elbow room, the five-seater EQE SUV is touted as one of the most spacious members of the EQ line. It also sports a hybrid trim making up what the automaker dubbed as “hyperanaloque theme”.

It primarily features one ultimate widescreen stretching across the whole instrument panel. The high-resolution panels seem to blend together harmoniously under a single glass cover.

The theme goes on to combine comforting wood elements with the modern coolness of genuine aluminum in the luxury SUV’s cabin. The interior also showcases an anthracite 3D relief-look finish matched with a laser-cut trim piece that is illuminated with a Mercedes-Benz pattern in the background giving a mix of classy and techno-futuristic visual effects.

Moreover, the interior is styled to emit a unique mood with the application of contemporary and classic materials and colors. Five coordinated color schemes emphasize the generous feeling of space. Then, they submerge the EQE SUV in a sophisticated, opulent universe of warm and cool tones consisting of contemporary balao brown and biscay blue/black as well as futuristic-looking neva grey. Meanwhile, the main outer vents are built like a turbine. The contrast between high-tech precise mechanics and the digital, glass displays purposefully plays on the hyperanalogue theme of the upcoming electric SUV.

The Mercedes EQ platform for big EVs serves as the foundation for the EQE SUV. Further complementing the functionality of the fully digitalized interior of the auto is the optional MBUX Hyperscreen.
