Meghan McCain and Whoopi Goldberg have a screaming match over Biden’s Russia assembly

So far, Joe Biden has received high marks from the press for his recent trip abroad. On Wednesday, however, he got into an irritable exchange with CNN’s Kaitlin Collins.

And the right-wing media used this moment to brand the whole trip as a catastrophe. This was the attitude Meghan McCain took during Thursday’s episode of The View.

The conservative expert told her fellow panelists:

“Just because Trump was so bad doesn’t make up for Biden’s bad behavior. What he just did was 100 percent Trumpy. I just want a little intellectual consistency. If Trump had done that, we’d be screaming out loud one way or another. I just think I’ve heard a lot of people in this town in DC talking about the press getting tired of this. About how censored he is, who he can and can’t talk to, and then splashing on them in a way that I found not only indecent and ridiculous, but doing it in a foreign country was especially bizarre . “

Whoopi Goldberg stepped in and found that Biden later apologized to Collins. McCain replied: “With all due respect, I don’t care if he apologizes. He just made a fool of himself. “

Goldberg shot back: “I don’t care that you don’t care, ”and later said to McCain,“ You can be who you always are! ”

After a commercial break, the women apologized to each other. Check out a clip of the segment below, courtesy of The View:

“It is the job of the press to tell the truth to power.”
