Maxine Waters warns that MAGA terrorists are planning nationwide assaults earlier than inauguration

With the country remaining affected by a violent attempted coup in the U.S. Capitol, instigated by the incumbent President of the United States, there is a growing likelihood that more MAGA attacks will be planned across the country in advance of Joe Biden’s inauguration.

During an interview on Monday, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) said she was not at all confident that Biden’s swearing-in was safe. She also warned that other MAGA acts of violence and terrorism could target other states.

“Some of our state legislatures are also affected,” said the Democratic legislature. “They may have an operation that is happening across the country at the same time and they are under attack.”

“I think we are at a very dangerous time in the history of this country,” she added.

Rep. Waters said:

No, I’m not confident (that Biden’s inauguration will be safe) based on what we’ve just witnessed. And we need to do a thorough study of how this happened and who is involved in all of this. But I want to tell you that not only am I not sure when you discover that we might have real problems. I believe that the President of the United States, Trump, has organized and worked in such a way that, even after he is not serving as President, he believes he has control over a significant population in this country that he can use to basically rule and basically confronting what unit he wants to face that doesn’t agree with him, reassigning them to other groups, etc. I think he intends to wield power after his presidency. Whether you are talking about a group of specific dates that we may have problems with, and I also think some of our state legislatures are, when they talk about the 17th and 20th are also targeted. And they may have an operation that is happening across the country at the same time that they are being attacked. I think we are at a very dangerous time in the history of this country.

New reports from the New York Times shed light on why Rep. Waters and others are concerned about future attacks, particularly in Washington DC on Inauguration Day.

According to the Times, another Department of Defense official said law enforcement agencies are planning any number of possible events, some of which are horrific. Worst of the worst scenarios include snipers targeting inauguration dignitaries, suicide planes entering Washington’s restricted airspace, and even remote-controlled drones attacking the crowd. “

“Officials said they were particularly concerned about multiple active shooter situations flaring up at the same time,” the report added.

If Trump and his makers are not held accountable, it could lead to a more deadly attack in the future

The worst mistake we as a country can make after last week’s events is to move on without holding Donald Trump, his makers and his MAGA terrorists accountable.

If swift and dire consequences are not achieved, more attacks will only be encouraged, be it at the inauguration of Joe Biden next week or in state capitals across the country.

Last week’s MAGA siege at the US Capitol was one of the darkest days in American history. If those in power do not hold the perpetrators and instigators accountable, we are doomed to see a more deadly attack – or even a successful coup – in the future.
