Kevin McCarthy, who gave tax cuts to the wealthy, calls Biden Stimulus Invoice Corrupt
House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy was one of the Republican advocates of tax cuts for the rich called Biden Stimulus to help regular Americans with corruption.
> @GOPLeader Kevin McCarthy on @ JoeBiden’s Covid package: “Too expensive, too corrupt and too liberal.”
First big package of the year.

In Republican logic, it is not corrupt to give the rich tax cuts intended to hamper the economy for generations while being falsely sold as a wage and employment incentive, but it is corrupt to have COVID vaccinations, school openings, food aid, unemployment benefits, Housing Allowance and Direct Incentive Controls for the American People.
House Republicans like McCarthy support Donald Trump so they can’t call anything corrupt. The republican mentality hasn’t changed in decades. They see the role of government in helping the rich and business. Republicans are not interested in governing for everyone or doing things to help ordinary people.
The stimulus plan isn’t corrupt, and if this is the hill they want to die on, Democrats should be comfortable about their chances of keeping the house in 2022.
