Insurgents have been ready for Trump to assault the Capitol, in accordance with the DOJ

The DOJ said in new court records that the OathKeepers and other paramilitary groups were awaiting Trump’s orders to attack the Capitol.

CNN reported:

The Justice Department is now making it clear that a leader of the Oath Guardian paramilitary group who planned and led others in the siege of the U.S. Capitol to try to stop the presidency of Biden believed on a call from then-President Donald Trump even react.

“As the inauguration approached, [Jessica] Watkins said she was waiting for instructions from President Trump, ”the prosecutor wrote in a file on Thursday morning.

The insurgents believed they were acting on orders from Donald Trump. The pieces of the puzzle all go back to Trump. Trump’s presidential campaign organized and funded the rally that brought the insurgents to the Capitol. The Trump White House communicated with the rioters ahead of the rally and Trump gave the order for the insurgents to march on the Capitol.

All roads lead to Trump. It is impossible for Trump and his defense to claim in impeachment proceedings that Trump did not instigate the uprising. Trump planned, financed and instigated the attack. Those who attacked the Capitol believed they were acting on Trump’s orders.

Donald Trump launched an attack on his own country. Impeachment is too light a punishment. With so much evidence, the case that Trump will face criminal charges is growing.
