10 Turkish shows that should be on your list because they are hidden gems

Last weekend, my parents were watching a show for hours. Then I realized it’s not one of the usual shows (that are so hyped) that they watch. There were beautiful backgrounds, fresh but relatable characters, and a nice background score (and no dhoom tananana with multiple zooms).

Towards the end of the episode, I slowly asked my dad about the show, and he revealed that it wasn’t an Indian or Pakistani show, but a Turkish one. Although I was confused at first, the show turned out to be quite interesting without many pleasantly dramatic revelations, and we ended up watching over twenty episodes that day.

Funnily enough, I’ve watched a lot of Turkish shows (and I’m not kidding) and I’m here with a list of some hidden gems that I think you should watch for a fun evening and trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

Let’s watch the shows now, shall we?
